The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is a long-stay, multiple-entry visa designed for two kinds of applicants: remote workers and freelancers who work for employers or clients based outside Thailand, and people coming for so-called “Thai soft power” activities — Muay Thai training, Thai cooking courses, medical treatment and similar programmes. A spouse and children can usually apply alongside the main applicant as dependents.
