This page explains what personal data Samui Visa Run collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies to our work.
Who we are
Samui Visa Run, 81/3 Moo 1, Maenam, Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand. For anything related to your personal data, write to us at Stick070194@gmail.com or call the numbers on our contact page.
What we collect
We only collect what a specific service actually requires:
- Contact details — name, phone number, messenger handle, email.
- Identity and travel documents — passport pages, visa stamps, entry records, and similar documents, when the service you asked for requires them (visa applications, border runs, work permits).
- Service details — trip dates, pickup point, nationality, current immigration status, payment status.
- Business documents — company papers, contracts, financial records, when you use our business, accounting or legal services.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the service you asked for, and to check in advance whether it will actually work for your case.
- To prepare and submit applications to Thai government authorities on your behalf.
- To keep you informed about your trip, application or case.
- To meet our own legal and accounting obligations.
In PDPA terms, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, your consent (for document handling where consent is required), and our own legal obligations as the bases for processing.
Who we share it with
Only where the service requires it:
- Thai government authorities — Immigration Bureau, Labour Office, Land Office, Department of Business Development, Revenue Department, and similar bodies.
- Partner professionals — licensed lawyers, accountants and auditors working on your case.
- Service partners — transport, ferry and airport partners, where the service needs it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your documents while your service is active and for a reasonable period afterwards — some matters (extensions, renewals, tax records) need earlier documents later, and some records we are legally required to retain. Beyond that, we do not keep documents indefinitely.
You can ask us to delete your documents once a service is complete, and we will — except where the law requires us to keep a record.
Your rights
Under Thai PDPA you can ask us to:
- tell you what data about you we hold;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- stop using it for a particular purpose;
- restrict its use in certain situations;
- receive a machine-readable copy, where technically feasible.
Write to Stick070194@gmail.com with your request. If you believe we mishandled your data, you may also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.
How we protect it
Access to your documents is limited to the people working on your case. We do not keep client documents in open group chats, and we do not share them with anyone who is not involved in your matter.
